Mobile Marketing Association Forum Singapore 2012 to Set Stage for a Smarter Tomorrow
Fourth iteration of industry conference gathers diverse industry players to explore the future of mobile marketing
Singapore, 18 January 2012 – Today, the Mobile Marketing Association (MMA) announced the Mobile Marketing Association Forum Singapore 2012, to be held from April 23-25, 2012. Held for the fourth consecutive year, the Forum will bring together leaders in the industry who are focused on building mobile campaigns around branding, engagement and analysis, for a Smarter Tomorrow.
This year’s Forum will see over 300 local and international delegates come together at the Grand Hyatt Hotel for a day of workshops followed by two days of conference. Delegates at the conference are expected from all parts of the mobile marketing ecosystem, including telecommunications service providers, advertising networks, marketing agencies, brands, technology and media companies.
“Over the last three years, the Forum has grown and matured. Now that mobile is firmly entrenched as a part of daily life, we will be looking to the future of mobile, to that smarter tomorrow that we all want – but that will only come if we pull together and make it happen,” said Rohit Dadwal, Managing Director, Mobile Marketing Association Asia Pacific Ltd.
“MMA is delighted at the level of support this Forum has received from the industry. Last year’s Forum drew a crowd of 250, a 72 per cent increase from the year before. Delegates were largely from top and middle management, with quite even representation of the whole mobile ecosystem. This year will be even bigger, as the Forum has become one of the must-attend events on the calendar for anyone working in and around mobile,” Dadwal continued.
Confirmed speakers at the Forum include:
- Scott Jensen, Vice President of Digital Products, The Weather Channel
- Erin (Mack) McKelvey, Senior Vice President, Millennial Media, Inc.
- Tarek Miknas, Chief Executive Officer, Promoseven Group
- Chad Wollen, Group Head of Consumer Futures, Vodafone PLC
Who should attend:
- Brand marketers who want to walk away with tangible ways on how to successfully integrate mobile marketing into their mix
- Agencies who want to be experts for their clients
- Media companies, technology enablers, operators all constituents of the mobile ecosystem who need to hear what marketers want from the mobile industry
