It’s been a bad few months for data breaches, and unless I’m much mistaken, there’s no reason to think that we’re out of the woods yet. It is not unexpected that data breaches continue to occur, and indeed, continue to get worse despite record spending on security technology. Or perhaps it’s fairer to say there are a lot of reasons: sophisticated attackers, human nature, inattention, even plain old bad luck…
