NTU, National Instruments in R&D lab tie-up

(SINGAPORE) Technologies to make wireless as fast as wired communications are being hatched in a research venture by National Instruments (NI) and Nanyang Technological University (NTU).
The technologies – which promise cheaper, faster, more reliable and more pervasive wireless communication than we have today – will be developed by NTU students and staff under the NTU-NI Wireless Research Programme.
The joint venture was sealed yesterday at NTU.
NI will contribute $2.07 million of instruments that will be installed at the Positioning and Wireless Technology Centre (PWTC) under NTU’s School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE).
