Mark Benfield to drive expansion across South East Asia and Korea

Singapore – December 09, 2009 – NetIQ, an Attachmate business, today announced the appointment of Mark Benfield as Regional Sales Director of the NetIQ business unit for South East Asia and Korea. In the role, Mark will head the Singapore office and drive NetIQ’s overall business in the target markets.

With over 19 years, Mark brings with him a wealth of experience in strategic business development focusing on the business and government markets. Mark previously held senior positions at Macquarie Telecom in Singapore and Australia, Cable & Wireless Communications in London. Based in Singapore for over seven years, he has a strong understanding of the local markets and significant knowledge of the complete range of systems and security management solutions that are in demand from companies throughout the South East Asia and broader Asia Pacific region.
